Aldijana Sisic
Chief of the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women
Aldijana Sisic is the Chief of the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and the Campaign Manager of the United Nations Secretary-General’s campaign, UNiTE to End Violence against Women. She is responsible for the overall management of the Fund and the Campaign, and provides strategic and substantive leadership to ensure that progress is made in achieving their goals and objectives. Prior to her coming to the United Nations in January 2009, Aldijana worked for 15 years at the International Secretariat of Amnesty International in London as a campaigning, activism and human rights specialist. In her native Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aldijana worked as a teacher and journalist.
