Jennifer Simon
Senior Vice President, Edelman Corporate Affairs
Jennifer Simon is a Senior Vice President in Edelman’s corporate affairs practice. She has extensive experience in social good initiative development for corporations, nonprofits, and U.S. government offices on a range of international issues, with a particular expertise in women and girls’ empowerment. Jennifer joined Edelman from the White House, where she served as the director of international affairs for First Lady Michelle Obama. In this capacity, she led the strategic planning and execution of Mrs. Obama’s international agenda, including her Let Girls Learn initiative, focused on global girls’ education. Jennifer has also served as deputy chief of staff of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID); in the State Department as senior advisor to then-U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice; and in the Senate as a senior advisor.
