Avery Blank is an award-winning policy attorney and recognized women’s advocate. She has been recognized by the National Association for Women Lawyers and received the “20 in Their Twenties” Award by Maryland’s leading business and law publication. Blank has worked in the private and public sectors, having worked at all levels of government, including the Executive Office of the President during President Obama’s Administration. She was a Senior Law & Policy Analyst with the University of Maryland Center for Health & Homeland Security where she devised crisis plans and successfully helped to lead strategy efforts to pass Maryland’s first-ever government data breach bill. She sits on a few boards, including with the American Bar Association.
